What %NRV actually means
NRV stands for Nutrient Reference Value. It is the daily amount of a vitamin or mineral that is enough for most healthy adults.
Reading the label
When a label says "Zinc 7 mg (70% NRV)", it means one serving gives you 70% of that daily reference amount.
Over 100%?
Some nutrients, like vitamin C, are often taken above 100% NRV. Vitamin C is water soluble and widely used at higher amounts. Always stay within the dose on the pack.
No NRV?
Ingredients like beta-glucans, elderberry or collagen do not have an NRV. We show the amount in mg so you can see exactly what you get.
Food supplement. Not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet.
